Since you seem so nice and friendly, I'll tell you a little story....
We are newlyweds, just married on
Dec. 14th. As we were getting to know each other, we sent each other a
list of the 10 things we wanted to do before we died. One of the things
I had on my list was..."I want to ride in a horse-drawn open sleigh
through the woods with a blanket on my lap and jingle bells singing in my
ear." I love...and I mean LOVE snow ! Of course, down in good
ol' 'Bama, we don't see much of the white stuff. Well, a few weeks
ago, I had been out at the mall and when I came home, my husband, Cal, handed
me a poem he had written for me. It began like this :
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
I'm gonna ride
on a sleigh with you.
Then he handed me papers showing that while I was
gone he had made all the hotel, flight and rental car arrangements for our
week-long vacation to New England !! Sweet, sweet man who loves me so.
We cannot wait to get there !
